Having worked in the insurance industry for 23 years, Martin Lonsdale setup as an independent insurance agent in Feb 1991. Over the following years the business grew and developed to incorporate Property Management and Residential Sales. This expansion continued and in August 1997 the decision was made to focus fully on the estate agency, with the purpose of providing the residents of Thackley, Idle and North Bradford a new estate office to sell their properties.

With the continued growth it was essential for Martin to recruit extra staff and the business now employs two negotiators, Julie Laidler and Oriel Wladarz, both of which have vast experience in financial services. Between them they act on behalf of vendors selling their residential properties and new build developments in the local area.

We are also involved in overseas purchases, particularly in Spain, for people looking to purchase a second home or investment.

In 2004 we were proudly accepted as members of The Guild of Professional Estate Agents, which is a prestigious body of dedicated professionals serving their local area.

As with previous years, 2006 saw changes at Martin Lonsdale. We were voted Runners Up by the Guild due to the service that we provide as a company. The continued growth of the company as a whole has lead to the recruiting of Jason Andrews as Rentals Manager and he is responsible for overseeing all properties which are rented through the office.
